The refund window

This policy is given by Etako Inc., the company you buy from and the company that pays a refund back.

Once the software has opened trades on your account, the purchase has delivered what it promised and the term runs to its date.

Why it is tied to trades rather than to time alone

Because this system can stand out of the market for weeks. A refund window measured only in days would expire during an ordinary quiet spell, through no fault of yours — and you would have paid for something you had not yet seen work.

The separate free-renewal guarantee covers the same problem from the other end: if a whole term passes without a single trade, that term renews free of charge and keeps doing so until you have had trades. Between the two, you are not charged for a period in which the system stayed out of the market.

What is not refundable

A licence revoked for breach of the terms — reselling it, sharing it, or attempting to recover its rules — ends without refund.

Losses made while trading are not refundable. ETA-CODE is a tool and the money is yours; that is the whole of the risk you take by using it, and the Risk Disclosure sets it out in full before you buy.

If you paid in cryptocurrency

A refund returns the value you paid, not the quantity of coin you sent. The licence is priced in USD; that figure is what comes back, converted at the rate on the day the refund is made.

This cuts both ways, and it is meant to. If the asset has risen since you paid, you receive fewer coins than you sent. If it has fallen, you receive more. Either way you are returned what the licence cost you, which is the thing a refund is for.

Tell us the address to send it to when you write. A transfer cannot be reversed the way a card payment can, so a refund is a fresh transaction and it needs an address you control. The network fee for sending it is ours, not yours.
